Step 1: Tell her its not gonna work out.
Step 2: Wait about a week to lets things settle.
Step 3: Then go out with the other girl.

The week should let things move back to the a point where you guys are just friends, so you won't feel as guilty asking one of her enemies out. If she has something to say about it, just remind her that just because SHE hates her doesn't mean you can't date her. Tell your ex you find the girl attractive and you don't see why it really matters that your ex hates her.

Well thats if you want to stay friends, but if you don't, then skip step 2 if you think its safe.

But seriously, someone should write a (GOOD) books about teenage relationships from both a guy and a girl's perspective. I don't know how many times I've repeated Dating tips to my friends...

Well pokailman1, thats if they've gotten past the "I'm in love with you" vs "I love you stage". If they have then after asking that question, a better response would be "If you truly loved me, then I'm sure you want whats best for me. And you want to see me happy, correct?" If she doesn't want to sound like a b*tch she will likely say "Yes". Thats when you can say, "Then I'm breaking up with you." To be honest, we don't have any idea what bigwhite's girl is like, and how the bad is the relationship between his current girl and the one he wants to go after. Which means our advice wouldn't be as helpful as if we knew the people. So its really up to big to decide what he wants best...
