reboots/restarts warning...

Post by ShuriGun on Fri Oct 10, 2008 7:04 am

umm... All the time when you restart/reboot the server you tell everyone in blue "Save now!" etc. etc.

Well, I think that you SHOULD use pop up in order to tell everyone to save/log out.

it will be much more noticable since there are people which close their chat logs....

We used to have Server Restarts at 6PM Central and 12AM Central automatically, but people wouldn't get off when they should have and fucked up there characters.

I agree that people should get out when asked, but sometimes it isnt noticable!
I mean, when the chat log is closed/+trading, "shopin", etc.

It's very rare for me or others to notice a blue line which says "save now"
and thats not the main reason...
That usually happens because GMs mass spam chating in blue (no bad feelings yea?) and sometimes people just stop reading their conversations...

I hope you get what I mean...

less ppl wud complain if the char gets messed up
if if they do
