How to make anything work on Vista

If you have Vista, many programs are not compatible, here's a list of
Common programs that you would want use but couldn't pertaining to private servers:
DxWnd
Hamachi
Snootaebot
Maplestory

Yes, all of these and more are unable to work on Vista, unless you make a few changes.

Step One: Right-click the program that want to work
Step Two: Go down and click Properties
Step Three: Go and click the Compatability tab
Step Four: Cilck the box next to the run this program in compatability for
Step Five: If not already there, find and use the Windows XP(Service Pack 2) option
Step Six: Go down and click the box next to run as Administrator (make sure you're the administrator)
Step Seven: Click Apply at the bottom
Step Eight: Use the program like normal
