New user not warned before being banned for using "sniper" (Same day I signed up)

I don't really know what I'm supposed to do - since I see many others posting on this forum to get unbanned, I'm going to post here.

Last week I joined Angerfist, and on the very same day and without warning, I was banned for using the bowman sniper skill. First of all, I received no in-game notice that I was not supposed to use the sniper skill because it was glitched, and I was not warned by the gm before he banned me. GM's have to consider that new users sign up every day, and not everyone is privy to all the goings on of the game. With that said, I've waited nearly a week and tried to log in today, but I'm still blocked. I don't understand why. What must I do get get unbanned? Your Rules forum is empty - so how I was supposed to know that it was against the rules to use a skill that is available in the game?

Helly fiery, as I said before, the name of the GM is on the "banned users" list - I found the list last week but I have forgotten where I found it this week. Do you by chance know where that list is located?

Actually, it is the GM's responsibility to warn me first before banning. I read their rules and it clearly states so.

On the other hand, I clicked on "Rules" to read the server rules and lo and behold not a single, solitary thread.

Now how exactly was I to know I wasn't supposed to use the sniper skill?

if its allowed, ill unban you, post your account ID and ill see what i can do. im a gm fyi XD

and like i sed earlier is isnt our responsibility
and if u look on the rules u wnt find nethin
so jus look around other topic until u find wut ur lookin 4
its not tht hard
all u gota do is click

Yes, I agree, it's not that hard to click: when you know what to look for. As a new user I am completely ignorant to the happenings of the game. It's incredibly unfair to assume a new user is going to know that a certain skill is NOT supposed to be used, and it's doubly unfair to assume that a new user has the presense of mind to think "gee, let me check the forums to make sure that a game skill is not supposed to be used before I start playing." That information is crucially important - in my opinion, players should be notified IN-GAME by use of the alert system that runs across the top of the screen.

Now I know, and as they say, knowing is half the battle. Thanks for your help!
