How do people get a lvl higher than 201 without negative exp???!?!

Uhm, GMs sometimes level people really high >.< i dont but others i think sometimes do

I tried to lvl myself that high and it didnt work... I either got sent to lvl 0 errr yearh... lvl 0 or lvl 1.. it sucks
