Pros:
1. Education
2. Childcare (one of my classes; kind of like daycare, we take care of real babies and toddlers)
3. I am a senior; last year of high school for me, babyyyy!
4. Jewelry/Metal class; well, obviously, we make jewelry. (:

Cons:
1. You can't sleep at all; the teachers will kick your desk or slam a book on the floor next to you.
2. The sophomores drive me insane. lol
3. Lunch sucks.
4. PE/Gym class sucks when you have bad asthma, but I push myself until I feel like I'm going to pass out. x_x

Most of you are from the US, and we all know how stupid most of you are.
In 1999 85% of the Americans did not see the connection between big fat meals and overweight.
No wonder you hate school and have low wages - you hate school.

I didn't like school, but I didn't hate it. But I saw the connection between doing good in school and being successful as an adult. And you can't do good in school if you hate it.

Thou, most of you might not know the correct meaning of the word "Hate", it means that you wish something never existed, and without schools and education the US would be ever dumber than they already are.

But then again, most of you are still kids and in the first year of puberty where you get that crazy idea that everything sucks, which makes you all kinda "emo" towards adults.

FlyingEvil, you aren't much older than I am.
Your school is probably way different than our school is.
You have a different government, yet we are more free than anyone else in the world.
I will agree with you that a lot of the USA population are idiots, but not all of them are.
I'm sure you have overweight people where you live, too, but that does not make them any less of a human with feelings.

Alex, you are younger than I am.

Only for the idiots that drop out of school, they are low.

It also depends on which state you live in, in the USA. The cost of living is higher so the wages are higher in some cities.

Monies are different from country to country as well. Don't completely hate on us.

We are far from one of the fattest countries in the world, I believe its now Japan with the US on a 2nd place.
There are more people dropping out of school in the US than in almost any other similar country in the world. I don't go to school anymore, since I finished my Bachelor last year. *getting that geeky feeling - lol*
The difference between Scandinavian schools and the American schools is that we stay in the same school the first 10years, the first ten years we learn basic knowledge, we can't drop out of that. Then we have to apply at a study, if we get in or not depends on how good grades we have, but it have never happened that someone have been without a study place. What we do at that is similar with what you call "high school" and "college". We go there 2 - 3years, if you go 3years you can go to an university to get a bachelor degree or and doctors degree. If you go two years, depending on what study you chose, you can become everything from a flight hostess to a truck driver. But, then again, its free to go to school in Scandinavia, not in the US, which I personally don't understand.
You may live in an extremely rich country - but it does not benefit the civilians. The difference between rich and poor in the US is almost as huge as in development countries. Lol!

Well, the minimum wage where I live is $7.15. That's usually how much a high school student makes and some adults that do not have college-knowledge. (Then again, my mom didn't go to college and she makes more than that.) It all depends on the job, the people, and where you live.
In other states, the minimum wage can go as low as $5.15.
In Puerto Rico it's like $4.10, but technically, they are only considered "U.S. Territory."

Then there are the illegal immigrants who probably make like $1-$2 a day. That's probably more than what they used to make where they lived prior.

@Trinity: At my school, the lunches suck. I do not eat lunch at school because they say our food is supposed to be healthy while half the time it's fatty burgers or greasy chicken. We do not get ice cream (I could be wrong) and we mostly get fruit juice pops or little things of fruit juice.

There you go, I can't say that most of our country is not overweight, because I know it is. I'm just one American; I can't do much except change my own way of eating (which I have).
