Problem with "Select Character"

So I'm able to log in just fine.. but when I go to select my character, it doesn't take me into the game. Would this be because ch1 is full? Or is it just.. a glitch.
And please do not post replies to this saying "TONS OF PEOPLE POSTED ABOUT THIS FRIGGEN LOOK AT OTHER POSTS" because seriously, that's annoying -_- and obviously, I wouldn't be asking this question if I didn't already look for it. Just answer my question please, it's not that hard.

There should be more channels than just ch1..

this is kind of like a "idle" mode for the server to reset...

ADMIN calls it "daytime server"...Meaning that no one can connect and play, but yet it says its online[which it is online], but no one can connect

god.. meaning if v3n0m nv wake up means all asian don need to play?? omfg. might as well quit

im not 100% positive that he converts back to Nighttime server, it may be on a timer and AUTOvert... This i don't know, but all i know is that this is a LAG prevention type of thing
