Question(s) regarding becoming a GM/or about GMs (v3n0m check it out)

This post is basically to v3n0m. If you aren't v3n0m and you are going to post to this, don't hate! These are just questions, and I rather them be answered by the admin/owner.

First off, is there any other way to become a GM without donating? I think I have the potential to become one, but I definitely do not have the cash to donate to an internet game/ps at the moment; Money is tight here with the decline in the economy. & I just have a high self-esteem at the moment and think I can do a better job than the ones that already are a GM. Haha!

Also, why do half of the GMs not follow the rules? There was one in particular that swore about 5-10x (the "F" word) the other day, while everyone else who isn't a GM swears and gets banned. As far as I figured, the rules posted on this page were for everyone and that GMs aren't supposed to get "special treatment" just because they are a GM.

ok if u dun wanna donate u could wait till v3n0m bans those 'gm' ur talking abt that dun follow rules...were gonna have shortage soo v3n0m 100% WILL open a gm application u can try ur luck but u nid to have been a gm at least ONCE and if v3n0m likes ur app he will recruit u

ive never seen anyone get banned for cursing,
not enev in the ip bans does it have 1 person
ok irob did ban one person.
but most the bans aren not from u guys cussing its mostly spam and avismega spam and ppl who are realy hacking,
We do our job and we have fun with it.

How can I become a GM "once" if no one has ever made me one at all yet? I just started using private servers like a month ago, and let me tell you, I learn pretty darn quick!

@Takeen: I don't mean ALL GMs don't do their job right, just a few of you aren't doing that great of a job from what I see. I'm sure a few of you only donated $60 because you thought becoming a GM would be amazing/godly. Me, I don't care if I become a GM at all, I just know I can do better than some already on there!

I agree with iKristy, some of the GM really screw around to much and are probably 12 y/o kids. Whenever i ban i make sure that the person either hacked or did something else that breaks the rules: spamming, packet editing, etc... I banned 8 people now i beleive, most spammed Smegas, Others Hacke or PE'd. I never ban for avismega, only jail.

Some of the GMs leave questions unanswered when someone smegas asking for help... no wonder most of them get banned/jailed for smega-spam. o_o;

Becuase your avismega lagged me so hard that i was having a black screen for a good 2 minutes. I actually decided to change my policy due to how much Lag we get now having 300+ people.

I wasn't aware there was a rule for accidentally lagging people on AFMS using something i didn't even know was a bannable offense having only played for 3 days, half the first day waiting for the server to come back up.
whatever, not my fault you have probably the worst computer in the world. have fun being a position you don't even deserve to have if you have to buy it.

I don't think anyone should be banned because of any kind of smega; I just think avatar smegas should be used moderately and not as much as regular smegas. They do tend to cause lag, but I think jail is enough.

My computer isn't the best. I can't afford a new computer, and I couldn't afford a GM spot. Let's face it, the only way I could become a GM is by pure luck! hah I don't have too much of that either.

I agree with kirsty all the way.. i have a SC and theres more ppl with Screenshots that a gm summons LOADS of nx slimes causing the whole server to l;agg and everyone to dc.. Also i've seen multiple Gms spam in the "notice" For recruiting for Their guild... if members aren't allowed to spam neither are Gms, also 50% of the gms have probably never read rules or have no maple expierience because for example I noticed people asking a gm stuff like where to buy nx and gm says: i dont know sorry, A gm should know this because its at the link "npc location or whatever which says: Mia - nx seller" Also, on the site it says "Buy nx" if a GM does not know such a thing he/she only became a gm because they wanted the power to abuse it. Do note.. this is not to all of the GMs i've seen good GMs..

Edit: Its not an excuse for a GM to say ppl spam u with questions. This is your fault because u dont awsner them! A GM is made to not only ban hackers, but also to help the community and that includes HELPING the members in this game. If u cannot, u do not deserve to become GM. Another example of this is: GMsmacky, I heared u say once u wanted to change your name into a name with nothing: " " just.. no name but how are members going to contact you? i do not wish to argue with GMsmacky but Members should be able to contact a GM. Also the @gmsonline doesn't work? how u know which gm is online.. This is a major gap in Angerfistms and it MUST be fixed.. GMs should not only hang out and ban.
They should help people aswell instead of giving people the fault of all the lag..

See? I know being a GM is hard work, but really, I can do it! I know where most of everything is in the game and most of the commands for regular users. I'm pretty literate, I follow the rules (everywhere), I love helping people, and I'm a hard worker. I wouldn't be able to hold too many events, but with all the GMs already on there - I think everyone would already have plenty of them. Considering most of them hold events without asking the admin like they should. I have had a lot of experience from other servers and the abuse that comes with it, so I know what to expect.

This server will end up leading towards a "phail" if the GM behavior is not corrected or if some GMs are not demoted and decent people are made GM. We need better people, not screw-offs.

... first lets get those weak gms down.. and server would be stable.. then to improve the server v3n0m should get better GMs with opening applications.
Anyway.. If u could post an application I surely would vote for u You'll be a fine GM

That just means v3n0m needs to get on and update us or fix it... or both. :3
