Why do I need to use skill so many times

GM help please when i just got my 4th job today i start to use boomerang step and now i need to use it like 4 times for the monster to die
Is there a way to stop this from happening?

np. sin glitch is like skelegons have 85k hp normaly i think but the glitch makes it have 3m
