Ok. I did what it told me to do.

I downloaded Maplestory and installed it, then after downloading the WinRar version of it, I extracted both of the exe. files into the maplestory folder. Then I double clicked the AngerFist MS icon, it did nothing for a few seconds, then I got this message saying "Unable to connect to log in server. Either you are not online or MapleStory is going through a server check. Please check the MapleStory homepage for more information." Then it gave me the option to choose YES or NO.

I choose NO, then I try this again 5 times, and nothing different happens. I even tried Re-installing MS and trying this again, and nothing else better happened.

How do I fix this?

it could just be that the server is down

But I viewed the website, and it said the servers were up.

But when searching adventuring for my answer on the other threads, someone said that "sometimes the website lies".

Yeah. I checked it after replying to this topic, and it said the servers were down, but then, this time when I came on, it said they were up, so I tried again, and I couldn't connect.

But, when I checked the main MS website, they said that there was a maintenance done today.

Does any of the maintenances of the main MS server affect the AFMS server?

no AFMS is a stand along server, stuffs happening on normal MS shouldn't affect AFMS

Oh, okay.

I also saw a topic saying that a "newbie" GM may be the cause of this.

What is causing all the downtime? I haven't got to try the game yet.

Lol, i was taking a snooze xD just got out of bed. But yeh, the earlier downtime was because a GM mass summoned NX slimes, dooming the server T.T

I don't know what you mean by that, but it sounds laggy as a Fook. Enough lag to cause something like a server to crash.

When will it be fixed, and is the GM gonna get banned?
