cannot connect?

hello im new here and i did everything this says, i downloaded v.55 and installed it and then i extracted the files into the maplestory folder and i made sure my dxwind thing was all correct but when i double click on the c:\Nexon\maplestor\angerfistms.exe it tells me it cannot connect because maplestory is having a server check or something like that...help please?

Try downloading the FTP mirror, seems 2 work for me if that dosent work, then try downloading the patcher, just put it in the maple story V55 folder and double click it then click play.

The server is most likely down.
